Wouldn't it be nice?
If we could get together.

COMMENTS for entries will be under 'CHATBOX.' Hooooshaaaaaah!
I'm Sam. I'm very immature and young. I love Hot Pockets. Yumyumyummm.
I just got back from Solo & Ensemble. IT WAS FUN. We had the middle schoolers there too, and I guess I did okay on my solo & the trio w/ Jader & Caroline. I KNEW I messed up, I KNEW IT. And no one ever taught me about freakin' vibrato. Oh well...at least I achieved 'gold' ranking...ha...
The day started out early. Seriously. I had to get up at 5:30 AM...not good if you slept at 10 on Friday night after coming home from buying an outfit for the next day's events. I got to the band room at 6:45, because Parker-sensei said WE WERE LEAVING AT 7. But then it figures that we were going to MEET in the band room at 7 and leave at 7:30. Some of us were not very happy, hahaha.
I rode the bus with Torrey; we had fun. xD Watched Family Guy on his iPod, played a hand game or something like that, and got bored. We got to CAJ (Christian Academy Japan) and got ready. I was freakin' nervous for my solo...but I guess I got through it.
After that, I watched some other peoples' things, like Alexandra's Waltz of the Flowers on piano, and I ended up being late to see Torrey & Aly's clarinet duet. Blehhhh.
The day dragged on. I met overly-obsessed Twilight fans. *SEVENTH GRADERS FROM YMS. They were going all gaga over some dude from ASIJ who looked like Robert Pattinson...or so they said. I scoffed, until I saw his profile. I sorta freaked out, and joked that we would 'stalk him'. HAHAHA. We just passed by him and stalled near his position (he plays trombone!). I saw him, and then I went, 'ew.' THEN I LEFT. Ohohoho.
Got bored, fell asleep on Torrey's shoulder on the bus. Comfy. Except I woke up to Bojangles by Pitbull while passing Tokyo Tower >.> (I still can't believe he dedicated that song to me :P)
OH WELL, that is enough for today...off to check my bro's math homework.
I feeeeeel like...a dead cactus. Not a cheescake this time, a cactus. Like the one Bella had in Twilight (the movie, that is).
GIMME A BREAAAK, KHS, GIMME A BREAAAK. I feel oddly hyper; I ate yakisoba, yum, yum, yuuummmyy.

AAAAANYWAYY...I'm bored. Tired. And I don't want to do this 日本語 project, but I know I must. Oh well, at least this week is almo--OH WAIT, NO WAI--THERE'S A HISTORY TEST NEXT WEEK D:
Nuuu, whyyyyy...?

insomnia is my new friend
I'm seriously turning insomniac. No sleep, all projects. Normal sleeping time: 8-9 PM. Recent sleeping time: 11PM - 1AM. Why? Projects, tests, quizzes, and pressure. I DETEST, I DETEST very much.
I'm tired. I'm stressed. I need some sleep...working on 日本語 project right now, waiting to recieve the verification code to upload Sony Vegas to my bro's computer...whilst charging my video camera so it won't die during the painfully slow video-editing process.
What have I gotten myself into? Well...a tangled web, full of sticky strings of blah. Blah, blah, and BLAAAAH. And on top of that, I have a 日本語しけん on Tuesday.
EWWH I HATE TESTS

You're insane, so insecure
I haven't blogged in a while, and I feel bad. I promised myself I'd keep up a journal, so I could get most of my feelings/ideas/stuff like that out.
Well, a lot of things have been going on lately. First off, I got a horrible grade on my last algebra quiz, half of our algebra class got split up, and my biology grade is slipping ever-so-slowly. To top it off, I have an Honors project, a DNA model (3-D, with a 360 degree-double helix), history quiz, probably a test coming up, a bio test on Thursday, and one of my best guy friends, who has always been there for me and everyone since the fifth grade, is leaving on the 19th of this month.
WOW, how utterly depressing, and dimming to one's self-esteem!
But I'm beginning to think outside the box. I'm beginning to become more responsible (albeit the wasted--NO, not WASTED! BLASPHEMY...just kidding--time reading FanFiction), trying to study hard to maintain that 4.0 I've had since the fourth grade, which is too hard to do. People have their expectations, and it's just too hard for me to meet sometimes.
Which leads me into what I really want to talk about.
My friends, lately, have been patronizing me with certain things. I.E.:
"SAM, OMG, I THOUGHT YOU WERE SOOOO GOOD AT ALGEBRA!" "I thought you're an A-student, why the heck are you getting 'this-that-whatevergrade'?!" "Blah, blah, blah, you're so smart, blah, blah, blah."
AAAAAAAAH. Sometimes things like that make me want to tear my head out. I know they're being nice, I know they're giving compliments...but sometimes, I really don't feel the way they do. I don't feel smart most of the time, I consider myself normal.
Well, I'm not normal, person-wise, but normal intelligence-wise. Smart people don't spend their free time reading FanFiction. Smart people don't do this, smart people do that--AH.
The point is, stereotypes are giving me a headache. An Alice Cullen-major headache. *sigh* I didn't mean to throw in that Twilight allusion, but I feel those kinds of headaches are painful. Ye gads.
If only I could read minds, then I could see how people really think. That would make life so much easier on so many levels.
the closer you get to something the tougher it is to see
this is what my dream world would look like:
aside from all the comedy in the video, I'd like to say that this song is amazing.
It's INSPIRATIONAL. Hee, hee. I mean it. Seriously, it is.
English translation of the 2nd Verse:
You know the closer you get to something the tougher it is to see it And I'll never take it for granted... It's fine to say "Never give up." and "Keep chasing your dreams." But the more time you spend talking big the less you get done. I'll press that handful of courage against my heart and with its help, survive another day And I'll never take it for granted Let's go
